Swiss Board of Aid
About us
The Swiss Board of Aid was founded in 2012 and is registered as a non-profit organisation (NPO number 267-206) in South Africa and tax-exempted by SARS as an approved Public Benefit Organisation (PBO number 930070562). In Switzerland, we are registered as a tax-exempted association.
Purpose
Support of all kinds (especially hospitals, clinics, schools and children) mainly in the Eastern Cape in South Africa.
Principles
-
All work for the Swiss Board of Aid is voluntary - all travel, accommodation and other costs are covered by the members of the Swiss Board of Aids themselves.
-
Donations are used exclusively for the effective costs of the projects (e.g. shipment costs of material transport, payments of medical goods, school fees, building material).
-
Administrative work and the like are not compensated and are carried out on a voluntary basis.
-
There is no direct financial support in form of money to the hospital and the community, instead only in the form of goods, work and the like.
